The Diamondbacks Are Heading To Texas For The World Series And So Is Bench Coach Jeff Banister's Smokeshow Daughter Alexandra
A true congratulations is in order for the Arizona Diamondbacks who are making their first trip back to the Fall Classic since 2001. We only have one Diamondbacks fan in the office and his name is John Rich, so it shocked me when I saw this stone was left unturned. Because a bigger congratulations is in order for Alexandra Banister, who is the daughter of the Dbacks bench coach Jeff. She's an alum of Baylor volleyball and I am staking her as the #1 Diamondbacks fan ahead of what should be a great series.
And listen, there's been a little hubbub in the Barstool office about blogs these days. They're getting watered down by people who are either too illiterate to write more than four sentences a blog, or too literate and write thousands of words about shit you don't care about. We don't have to name names, but there is something to be said about quality over quantity. There's a saying about making every word you utter on this earth, written or not, count because you don't know how much more time you have. And that's exactly why I'm not going to waste your time any longer, but instead tell you the play is the Diamondbacks series price +150, and leave you with a slideshow for your eyes only:
P.S. Revenge series for Jeff who managed the Rangers for three years. And he looks like a badass with that cigar. Enough said.
